AUTOMOTIVE
Q. Can you install the back window in one piece or it is spliced?
A. Our expert technicians use a “dry shrinking” technique which shrinks the tint perfectly to the size and shape of the rear glass. Using this technique allows us to use one piece for the rear window instead of splicing.
Q. Does tinting affect the navigation system?
A. It depends on the type of film used and also on the vehicle. In general, it is not recommended to use metalized window film on cars with a navigation system. However, the trade off is that the less metal there is in the structure of window film, the less heat energy is rejected. That is why ceramic films are more expensive. They offer high heat reduction with no metal variables.

Q. How should I clean tinted windows?
A. It is recommended to allow 10 days for the adhesive to properly bond with the glass. The drying time generally varies based on the weather conditions and temperature. The best solution we have found to clean windows is 50/50 alcohol and water
Q. Will window tint turn purple or bubble?
A. None of the materials that we use should bubble. All of our products are backed by manufacturer’s lifetime warranty against pealing, bubbling, and flaking.
RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL
Q. How difficult it is to clean and maintain window tint?
A. It is recommended to allow 10 days for the adhesive to properly bond with the glass. Drying time generally varies based on the weather conditions and temperature.
Q. Does tinting stop fading?
A. There are number of factors that affect fading. The pie chart below illustrates the distribution of each factor.
As you can see the number one cause of fading is UV rays. All of our window films block 99% of the suns UV rays. In addition, some of our window films reject/block as much as 78% of total solar energy, reducing damage caused by heat and light.
Nevertheless, it is important to realize that although window film can drastically reduce fading (in most cases more than life expectancy of furniture, carpet, etc.), it will not stop it completely.
Q. Will window tinting make the room very dark?
A. It depends on the film. You may choose a product with a very light shade which provides UV protection and rejects solar energy. However, as a general rule, the darker the window film, the more energy will be blocked from coming in (reflectivity of the products are also an important factor in determining the performance of the window film).
Q. Will window film turn purple?
A. Not if you use the right product! Whenever getting a quote, make sure the product is backed by a manufacturers warranty against fading. If there are no dyes used in the structure of the window film, it will not turn purple or fade.
Q. Will window film bubble or start pealing after few years?
A. All of our solar control window films are backed by manufacturers’ warranties (life time for residential and 10 years for commercial) against pealing, bubbling and cracking. Our products use the latest “Dry Adhesive” technology with a superior adhesion over traditional “pressure sensitive” adhesives.
Q. What is a glass breakage warranty?
A. Depending on the type of film used, the manufacturer will warrant against glass breakage for 5 years and 2 years against seal failure on dual pane glass. You may also purchase an optional extended warranty, which can match the existing glass breakage/seal failure warranty offered by the glass manufacturer.
